Guardianship

Guardianship is a legal requirement for any student under the age of 18 years studying on a student visa in Australia. Some schools also require students on a tourist visa or a working holiday visa to have guardianship for their own well-being.

ASAP Homestay’s guardianship service provides parents comfort in knowing the day to day care of their child is being catered for. This includes monitoring their living arrangements ie homestay, liaising with their school and ensuring their general health and medical needs are being met.

Further, we ensure that the student, to the best of their ability, complies with any visa requirements imposed by the government.

Some packages provide reports to the student’s family every 6 weeks (in English) with any further correspondence being sent whenever required. These reports can be translated at a minimal fee.
