Cairns Student Lodge is an all inclusive student accommodation facility located adjacent to James Cook University in Cairns, Queensland. It offers a secure, friendly environment to students from around the world. We also offer casual and study group accommodation options.

LOCATION
Situated in one of the most idyllic places on the globe, Cairns Student Lodge is the place to live while you learn. Available to University, TAFE, Language School and Business College students, the Lodge offers a range of comforts and amenities in a secure environment.

Cairns Student Lodge is close to two beautiful beaches, only walking distance to shops and approximately 20 minutes from Cairns city centre.

MEALS & CATERING
Breakfast, lunch and dinner are prepared by qualified chefs and all meals are included in the weekly cost.
Packed lunches and late meals are available for students with class commitments during the week. Specialised diets can usually be catered for with prior notification.

All meals are served in the bright, modern dining room and present an ideal time to mix and mingle with students staying at the Lodge.

Gilligan’s Backpacker Resort is just as it’s name says – more like a resort rather than a traditional backpacker hostel. The accommodation is split over four levels offering a variety of room types. All rooms are spacious, have air-conditioning and en-suite bathrooms.

LOCATION
Centrally located in Cairns City, next door to the famous Rusty’s Markets. (market days are Fri-Sat-Sun each week). A short stroll to the Esplanade, supermarket, Cairns Central Shopping Centre, restaurants and bars.

MEALS & FACILITIES
Gilligan’s in-house guests will enjoy a free evening meal each night with any drink purchase, plus VIP pricing throughout the venue and free entry into the club before 11pm.

Each floor has its own fully equipped kitchen, high speed internet facilities/Wi-Fi and a communal chill-out area for lazing about, Skyping your family or just chillin’ in front of the TV.

Cairns Central YHA is the perfect base to explore North Queensland. YHA’s Backpacker hostel in Cairns has 59 rooms including dorm, twin/double and family rooms. All are air-conditioned and many have ensuites.

LOCATION
YHA is conveniently located opposite Cairns Central Shopping Centre and is a short walk from the Cairns Esplanade, Night Markets and the Reef Fleet Terminal, the departure point for all Great Barrier Reef tours.
